Introduction

Imagine every time you referred a client on to a wealth management company, you got paid?

As a mortgage or insurance broker, your clients will often ask: “Can you recommend  someone who can give me pensions or investment advice?” Or, “Do you do pensions?”

Now imagine what it would be like if you could answer “Yes” to both those questions and get paid for it.

We have created a unique opportunity for mortgage and insurance advisers, accountants and solicitors, to partner with us to provide a tailored wealth management service to your clients under your very own brand.

That’s without having to employ a financial services expert or put yourself through intensive training to skill yourself up.

As an additional service operating under your own brand, you’ll receive a percentage of the revenue generated by every client you introduce, and the revenue of any clients they introduce.

It’s a win-win arrangement that will give you an additional arm to strengthen your business and enhance your income stream.  At the same time It enables us to help your clients receive sound financial advice and a clear financial pathway to achieving their financial ambitions.

Executive Summary

As we head into the third decade of the millennium, it has become evident that more people will require robust wealth management advice as they approach the key stages in their lives.

Some will be maturing young adults in their thirties about to marry, start a family and get onto the property ladder.  Others will be the forty-somethings forging their careers as they realise the value of their property assets and pensions.

And then there’s the new age fifty-five plus group who are thinking about accessing their pensions and retiring early.

We all need solid financial advice we can rely on delivered by experienced wealth managers we can trust, whatever age we are or whatever financial situation we’re in.

However, right now there is an issue in the Financial Services Industry.

A Declining Advice Pool And More Red Tape

The demand for good quality long-term wealth management advice is predicted to exceed the number of experienced professionals in the industry, as financial services consultants in their mid-fifties are choosing to retire early.

With fewer graduates and school leavers choosing financial services as a career pathway, there will be a dearth of experienced finance consultants in the sector.

That, plus the ever-increasing stream of regulatory intervention, means less people are joining the sector.

However, opportunity often appears during times of adversity, and this is no exception.

The Opportunity

We have created an opportunity for mortgage and protection professionals and accounting and solicitor practices to join forces with us.  By working together we can retain and share our collective industry knowledge and experience, while benefiting mutually from an additional revenue source and new client introductions.

By bringing our network onboard as an element of your own brand offering, you will develop a pipeline of referral revenue to complement your current business, just by giving your clients access to our team of dedicated wealth management consultants.

With communication and transparency at the centre of our work ethic, our aim is to build strong, long-lasting relationships with you and your clients.

A Professional Partnering Strategy

Working on an individual case-by-case or contractual basis, our highly experienced advice and customer services teams have a proven process of working with our partnership clients.

We are partnered with Peregrine & Black Investment Management to offer a full discretionary investment service to clients.

The day to day supervision of your portfolio management will be taken care of by your PBIM Investment Manager. Using your unique individual requirements and risk tolerance they create bespoke portfolios using the whole of market. Finding you the most suitable investments across direct equities, collective investment vehicles and ETF’s.

PBIM understand that your circumstances and market conditions are ever changing and their approach is to evolve your Investment Management to meet any changes.

The right amount of your money will be invested in the right place at the right time, by assessing risk, return and correlation of asset classes, the asset allocation process is designed to invest capital as efficiently as possible to balance your returns with the risks involved. PBIM will utilise research from external and internal strategists and manage the risk by dividing asset classes into: Equities, Fixed Income and Alternatives.

Whilst The Strategic Asset Allocation Committee meets on a quarterly basis recent events and market conditions have heightened the need for more flexibility and core strategies set the long-term optimal asset allocation, it is recognised that investments and markets will move away from fair value. PBIM’s ability to be flexible and quickly implement tactical decisions comes into its own.

Initial Discussions And Partnering Strategies – Getting To Know You

The best part of starting a new business relationship is getting to know each other and finding out more about each other’s businesses.

As a first step we will arrange an introductory meeting where we will discuss our partnership strategy, how we will work together and the service we will provide.

Clients Identified – Getting To Know Your Clients

Your clients are your greatest asset and will be treated with great care and sensitivity.

Our business development manager will work with you to identify which of your clients require a review of their finances in line with our Regulator’s requirements.

Introducer Agreement & Contract – Your Reward

Before engaging with your clients, we will agree terms of business to be complied with should one of our financial reviews result in a new business application.

Fact Find / Advice / Implementation – Working WIth Your Clients

After we have conducted a thorough and in-depth fact finding meeting with your client, where appropriate, we will make you aware of any financial aspirations we have identified.

Our experienced administrative staff will complete our reporting requirements and provide all the relevant new business applications.

You can be assured that we will not undertake any new business with any of your clients that would create a conflict of interest with you as the introductory business.

Remuneration – How You Get Paid

In line with the terms of business we have pre-agreed, any remuneration you are due will be directed to you as soon as we are in receipt of the fee income.

Following this we will promptly transfer any initial amount due, together with the date and frequency of any ongoing fees, where applicable.

Ongoing Client Service / Relationship – Developing Our Relationships

As a legacy of the high standard of service we have conducted during our years in business, we continue to provide intergenerational financial planning for our loyal and satisfied clients and their families.
